ING. HADISU ALHASSAN

(WORKERS’ REPRESENTATIVE – DIRECTOR)

Ing. Hadisu Alhassan joined Ghana Water Company Limited in 2006 as a National Service Person and was retained after. He worked at the Weija Water Treatment Plant as Head of the Water Quality Assurance Department. During this period, he implemented robust measures that optimized chemical usage and addressed lapses in chemical application.

He was transferred to the Brong-Ahafo Region as Production Manager in 2017. Between 2017 and 2021, he was a key member in the evaluation of the Wenchi, Sunyani and Techiman, Atebubu-Amantin and Dormaa Water Supply Projects.

He is currently the Production Manager of Ashanti Production Region. He has lectured at the Ghana Water Training School since 2009.

He holds a Master of Applied Science degree in Civil Engineering from University of British Columbia (UBC) Canada and a Bachelor of Science degree from KNUST. He is a PhD Candidate in Civil Engineering at the UBC, Canada. In 2021, he was elected unopposed by the GWCL Union as its Workers’ Representative on the GWCL Board.
