Ing. Michael Botse-Baidoo is currently the Chief Manager for Corporate Planning Department at the Head Office. He joined GWCL as an Assistant Engineer in 1993. Prior to that, he completed his National Service in 1991 with then Rural Water Department of GWCL at Ada in the Dangbe – East District.

From 1993 to date, He has held several positions as a Chief Manager for Project Planning and develepment, Planning/Project Engineer, Manager for Development and Investment, Project, Contracts and Construction Management, and Distribution at the Brong Ahafo, Ashanti, Western Regions and Head Office respectively. His last position he held was a Chief Manager for the Project Planning and Development of Ghana Water Company Limited. He has rich experience and exposure in Project Management and in the planning, design, operations, management and maintenance of water supply systems country wide.

He holds a Civil Engineering Degree from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, a post graduate diploma in Management of Drinking Water Supply, Germany and an Executive Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration, Ghana. He is also a certified Public Private and Partnership Specialist from the Institute of Public Private and Partnerships USA and a member of the Ghana Institution of Engineers.
