Dr. Thomas Mensah Abobi (DBA) is a highly accomplished finance professional with over two decades of experience in strategic financial planning, operational management, and corporate finance. He currently serves as Chief Manager, Finance at the Head Office where he oversees financial planning and management.

Previously, as Head of Consolidation/Financial Accountant at the Head Office, he played a key role in budget preparation, policy development, and financial reporting. He spearheaded cost-reduction strategies that significantly cut operational expenses and improved financial transparency. Prior to this, he served as Finance Manager for both Accra West and ATMA Production regions, where he successfully streamlined financial operations, implemented budgetary controls, and led teams to enhance financial performance. He also contributed to the development of financial models and tools, tariff reviews, and corporate budgeting, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. His progression through diverse accounting roles within the company reflects his strong foundation in financial management, compliance, and risk assessment.

Dr. Abobi holds a Doctor of Business Administration from the Nobel International Business School and Master of Business Administration (Finance) from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA). He is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), UK. He is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana, and an affiliate member of the Chartered Institute of Administrators and Management Consultants.
